Hewshott International Growth

Hewshott International, a leading independent AV and acoustic consultancy firm has shown a spectacular turnaround and strong performance in their year ended March 2011. This is a significant turnaround from the previous year with both turnover and operating profits back to pre GFC levels. The strength and reach of the company, from humble beginnings in one office in Hampshire, UK, to an international consultancy firm with offices in six countries worldwide, has contributed to Hewshott being a global success story for the AV consultancy market.

Peter Hunt, Hewshott’s CEO explains, ‘we certainly felt the pinch in 2008 and 2009 but we took the necessary steps to protect the business. By concentrating on our core business we then needed to recruit the right people with key skills, and fulfilled our strategy with offices in Australia, India and the USA.’  This success is partly based on the need to make a difference and deliver value in a market that is increasingly more choosy about how they spend their money, and is an accolade for proper, independent advice from an accountable consultancy. Independence is central to Hewshott’s ethos. Adds Jim Barrett, Hewshott’s UK Director ‘we've worked hard to remain fiercely independent, and we will never compromise our position in the market, no matter how tough it is. Maybe this accounts for clients coming back to us for further business.’

Hewshott International is a global firm of audio visual and acoustic consultants operating in Europe, Asia Pacific and America.  The firm has over 25 employees worldwide with offices in 6 different countries.
