Hewshott Boosts the Global Acoustic Team
Hewshott is thrilled to announce that Felipe Ronderos and Seçil Köşü have joined the team in Australia as Acoustic Consultants. Felipe and Seçil each come with around 10 years acoustic experience and between them bring extensive environmental, noise impact and building acoustics knowledge.
Felipe has significant experience in Sound Engineering too, and will be a valuable member across the AV side of Hewshott’s activities, where his knowledge will support the increasing number of performing arts and concert venues that Hewshott is engaged with. Some of his previous work included music events, audio networking solutions and working in a live environment. His passion for acoustics and ability to combine technical analysis with a strong results-oriented approach positions him as a highly competent professional in his field.
Seçil’s passion is pure acoustics, and brings substantial experience across a range of environmental and building acoustics as well as Performing Arts and Concert venues. She has spent many years in Europe in both a consulting and research role, working within the University sector as well as across multiple industries. Seçil is very knowledgeable across the ISO standards and computerised software systems, having worked on rail, road, air noise modelling, down to interior acoustics, and even vacuum cleaners and fridges. She has undertaken noise modelling for cities, mining sites and hospitals to name just a few.
In their roles at Hewshott, Felipe and Seçil will be working closely together, supporting each other, expanding their knowledge and reach across the range of projects that Hewshott is engaged with. They will be working alongside other members of the acoustic team – Andre in Singapore and Abhinav in India.
The team is also supported by a senior acoustician, who is a former ‘Hewshotter’, mentoring them and ensuring their work is delivered to the high standard that our clients expect. It will support a smooth transition process, and adheres to our ISO9001 quality assurance processes.
Hewshott Acoustics is a truly multi-cultural department, drawing our staff from Columbia, Türkiye, India, Brazil, and Spain. We are absolutely delighted that we have such a diverse and engaging department, and we look forward to continued expansion.
