Hewshott Employs a New Apprentice Technology Consultant
Hewshott is delighted to welcome Evan Harvey as our new Apprentice Technology Consultant, joining the UK team as part of our continued investment in developing future industry talent.
Evan recently completed his A Levels at Thurstable School in Tiptree, achieving strong results in Music Technology, Media Studies, and Physics. Alongside his studies, he gained hands-on experience managing live sound for school concerts and performances; taking responsibility for multi-microphones setups and delivering high-quality results under pressure.
A self-described audiovisual enthusiast, Evan brings an impressive technical foundation, with practical experience across audio editing, sound design, and video production tools including Adobe Suite, PowerDirector, and FL Studio.
During his interview, one moment that stood out was when he was asked to explain something simple to him but complex to someone else. His example, how to guide his grandmother through connecting a Bluetooth speaker to her phone, demonstrated not just technical clarity, but empathy, patience, and the ability to communicate complex ideas in simple, human terms. These are the very qualities that define great consultants.
