Hewshott was engaged to redesign the entire sound system with a focus on precision, coverage, and intelligibility. A defining challenge of the project was the venue’s proximity to a residential area, where noise spill and community impact were major concerns. The solution needed to deliver strong, consistent audio across the course without projecting unnecessary sound beyond the venue boundaries. This requirement shaped every aspect of the design, from loudspeaker selection to placement and system tuning.

To meet these constraints, Hewshott’s AV and acoustic teams worked in close collaboration, integrating acoustic modelling with system engineering to achieve a balance between performance and control. The result was a crystal‑clear PA system capable of delivering announcements and race commentary with exceptional clarity, even over long distances and in varying weather conditions. At the same time, the system was engineered to minimise off‑site noise, ensuring that neighbouring residents were not disturbed during events.

The project concluded with the successful delivery and on‑site certification of the sound modelling, confirming that the system performed exactly as predicted. Hewshott also completed all sound system programming, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance for venue staff. The upgraded audio infrastructure now supports Champion Lakes in hosting high‑level competitions while maintaining strong community harmony—demonstrating how thoughtful acoustic design can enhance both sporting excellence and environmental responsibility.
