Setting new standards for AV systems design and delivery

Setting new standards for AV systems design and delivery

2 years of work is nearly over. 20,000 sqm of office space is now occupied by the WA Department of Communities and Transport in Fremantle, Western Australia’s port city.

There were over 100 meeting rooms each utilising Microsoft Teams. Sizes ranged from small intimate spaces to open plan collaboration areas, right up to large, multi-function rooms. Hewshott delivered the next evolution of meeting spaces, designed to enable users to operate all spaces from the largest to the smallest in the same way.

Keeping technology off the meeting tables was our vision because it avoids damage. This also helps clearing meeting tables for laptops, papers, cups as well as promoting consistency and thereby confidence to the user.  With a strong independent mindset, we scoured the market. We then tested and developed designs. Put many emerging technologies through their paces before we were happy with the performance. Our specialist team hand-picked different products and delivered a solid and consistent solution across different meeting room sizes. Even better, this was achieved utilising the client’s existing IT network for delivery.

Another Hewshott project that sets a new standard for AV systems design and delivery. A great example of the client and consultant working together to deliver an outstanding result.
