The college’s new building is a departure from traditional teaching methods and with dependencies on digital technology on the rise, the College’s leadership team wanted to make sure they were not left behind.
Hewshott was engaged early in the project lifecycle, allowing us to play a proactive role in shaping the design to ensure seamless integration of technology within the built environment. This early involvement enabled us to collaborate closely with the design team, embedding AV solutions that not only complemented the architectural vision but also enhanced the functionality of the space.

In addition to influencing the design, we provided strategic guidance on technology choices—highlighting solutions that would deliver long-term value and reliability, while advising against those that may not meet performance or integration standards.
The levels of interaction, technology and solutions includes building-wide systems that have high dependencies on the College’s IT infrastructure. Hewshott’s IT consultants worked closely with the AV and IT teams to ensure the IT network is ready for the AV systems.

The sucess of the project is evidenced by Iona:
‘‘I appreciate Hewshotts expertise in AV and all the work Hewshott have done for our College. You have done the big job of planning and implementing. You guys are the “Ferrari” of AV.’’
