The project is built on an integrated AV and IT design that uses a unified network and control architecture to deliver a consistent, scalable experience across all academic and shared spaces. This foundation ensures that technology performs reliably while remaining easy to manage and expand as the University’s needs evolve.

A user‑centred approach shaped every aspect of the system design. Interfaces were developed to be simple, intuitive, and dependable, allowing academic staff to focus on teaching, collaboration, and creativity rather than troubleshooting technology. Close collaboration between Hewshott, the University team, and the wider consultant and contractor groups enabled early resolution of technical and spatial challenges, ensuring a smooth delivery process.
